Wylio is an image search engine you can use to find and embed (with adequate attribution!!) a ton of Creative Commons licensed images.

To use Wylio:
  • First go to wylio.com and search for an appropriate image.
  • Once you've found an image, you have to decide what size and alignment you want to use.
  • Then you copy the html code (Ctrl-C).
  • Go to your wiki, click Edit, and place your cursor where you want the image to go.
  • Click on the Widget button on the toolbar and select "Other html"
  • Paste the html code into the box (Ctrl-V) and press OK.
  • You've just embedded the image with proper attribution!

Here's an example: I did a Boolean search for [ Anne+Frank ] (without the brackets), and I selected the third image I found. I specified that it should be centered and I dragged the size bar to the left until the image was about the size I wanted. Then I clicked on the Get the Code button. From there, I just clicked in the textbox and copied the html code. Piece of cake!
